IT Refresh is certified to the most stringent standards in the industry attesting to our commitment to our customers to properly manage their electronic waste. All standards are third-party audited. Below are the standards we are certified to.


E-Stewards Certification is an accredited, third-party audited certification based on the e-stewards Standard which defines best practices for ethical and responsible used electronic equipment management. Its key focuses are Data Security, Downstream Due Diligence, legal transboundary Movements, Proper Reuse and Refurbishment, Communications and continuous Improvement.


National Information for Information Destruction (NAID) is the standard for data security throughout the industry. Key aspects of the certification are Operational and facility security, Information destruction processes, Employee hiring practices and insurance liability coverage.


R2v3 is the leading standard for electronics repair and recycling. The R2v3 Standard provides a common set of processes, safety measures, and documentation requirements for businesses that repair and recycle used electronics. R2v3 is rigorously and independently audited and emphasizes quality, safety, and transparency.


ISO 45001 is an international standard that specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system. It provides a framework for organizations to manage risks and improve OH&S performance. The standard establishes criteria for an OH&S policy, objectives, planning, implementation, operation, auditing and review.


ISO 14001 is the internationally recognized standard for environmental management systems (EMS). It provides a framework for organizations to design and implement an EMS, and continually improve their environmental performance.
